Georgie is experiencing TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES...

OH NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
WE'RE EXPERIENCING TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES!

Something is highly wrong with my COMPUTER. That means I hafta unplug everything so that my Illegitimate Nephew, Kevin and his Worthy Assistant, Bert, can fix it. They say they're gonna hafta take the WHOLE THING apart to figure out what's wrong, fix it, then put it back together again.

I asked Kevin if he really thought he knew what he was doing with all this, and he said, "Probably."

Anyway, I have been informed that it's gonna bee at least a WEEK beefore this gets fixed and I can bee back online.

Geeeeeeeeeze. I'm highly disappointed.

With any luck, I'll bee back with my BeePs by next Monday (which is a day which I think we all agree that we all look forward to arriving). Until then, sorry for the Technical Difficulties - and I'll see ya' as soon as I can!

I hope everybody has an intensely satisfying week ahead!

I'll see ya' later!

Georgie's curious about what's going on in the Hive....

Tuesday, May 10, 2016

So I hope all my BeePs remembered to take out your trash today. It’s Tuesday, ya’ know.

After I went to Bees ‘R Us and picked up a case of Medicated TenderButz™ Stinger Balm (that stuff helps), I buzzed by the Hive to see what was going on. The flowers around here have only started blooming, so most everybody is just kinda hanging around, doing some Warm Season Cleaning, and hoping the wind dies down so they can get to work already. (Her Royal Majesty, Queen Bee, is getting worried about Inventory. But then, she usually is.)

I noticed that Rudy Bee was standing around, talking to Sunshine (she was getting ready to do her laundry), Lester (who looked like he needed sleep), Ultra Violet (who kept asking, “but what about the music?”), ButterCup (who asked me how my Southern Hemisphere was doing), and Kevin (who I thought was supposed to bee out, looking for a new Job). When I got close, they stopped buzzing all of a sudden and just kinda stared at me.

PartyPlanners

“What’s up?” I asked.

They just kinda looked at each other, then Rudy said, “Uhm, uh, we’re planning a party.”
“A Party?” I said. “That sounds like a good thing to do. It’s been awhile since we’ve had a Party. What’s the Party for?”
(I immediately felt embarrassed for ending my question with a preposition.)

“What’h the Party for?” Rudy said. “Uhh, itth a Thurprith!”
“A Surprise?” I asked. “What Surprise?”

Then Kevin said, “Uncle Georgie, you’re the best uncle in the world, and I love you, but I’m afraid it would be inappropriate to discuss this matter any further with you. I will see you at home, right after my Job Interview. Which reminds me, I’m almost late for that, so I have to go.”

Then he left, and so did everybody else.

It was very strange.

Anyway.

Seeing Sunshine head off to the Hive Laundromat reminded me that I hafta go start my Thoroughly Intensive Warm Season Cleaning today.

So I’m gonna go do that.

I hope everybody has a sparklingly refreshing day!

I’ll see ya’ later!

It's Monday - and Georgie's returned from his Excursion...

Monday, May 9, 2016

How are my BeePs today? Is everybody as Deliriously Ecstatic that it’s finally Monday as I am?

I just have a word of advice for everybody:

If somebody invites you to go on a five-day, cross-country “vacation” on a Bicycle Built for Two, DON’T DO IT. Say that you hafta finish knitting an Emergency Toaster Cozy, or that you’d love to do that, but your doctor told you that fresh air is really bad for you…but whatever you do, come up with some sort of polite and reasonable-sounding excuse not to go. You’ll thank me later.

Seriously now.

After that Five-Day Bicycle-Built-For-Two Excursion that ButterCup and I went on, my legs feel like they’re gonna fall off. I can barely walk.

Also, about halfway through the trip, my bicycle seat completely fell off, which was highly uncomfortable. I’m pretty sure I’m not gonna bee able to sit down for a week. (I’m not gonna go into the details on that one.)

Today, I think I need to buzz over to Bees ‘R Us and pick up a case of TenderButz™ Stinger Balm. My Southern Hemisphere, so to speak, needs some serious soothing.

So I’m gonna go do that.

I hope everybody has a ridiculously pleasant day!

I’ll see ya’ later!
