Georgie's Highly Disappointed...

Georgieis Disgusted 2

So ever since I "celebrated" my 50th Birthday, I've been doing a lot of incredibly serious thinking about Observance of Special Days and how Rude it is to fail to Observe them (for us bees, that means inviting the entire Swarm to a Huge Party and celebrating with a Festive Assortment of Foods and Beverages, and possibly Balloons, even though those are beecoming harder to get ever since the Bee Balloon and Aerial Flotation Device Emporium have been back-ordered on Balloons for about the last year and a half ... they've had to resort to selling Drones, which I can tell you, the Drones don't appreciate one bit), and it occurred to me that so far this year, no one has not failed to not mention that there was or wasn't a Celebration for this year's Half-Full Coke Can Day, Nectar Fizz Day, Pollen Appreciation Day, or for that matter National Honeybee Day, which there wasn't.

What the hell is that all about?
We don't Celebrate things anymore?

That question has really been Nagging at me ever since I showed up to my Surprise 50th Birthday Party that I was completely and totally Confident was beeing held at what USED to bee Lousy Louie's and has now been renamed "Lousy Louie's Pollen Grill and Nectar Bar", though I'll still just call it Lousy Louie's anyway, even if Felonie Snark doesn't like it. I'm sure you already know Felonie took over the place awhile ago, and quite frankly, it has just never been the same since. But then, nothing is anymore, is it? And at this point, I just want to say that if you didn't make it to my 50th Birthday Celebration, don't feel ashamed - there wasn't one, as I mentioned beefore. Or did I mention that?

I showed up at Lousy Louie's and expected to see a whole bunch of Birthday Decorations. But is that what I saw? No, it wasn't.

There weren't even any Decorations or apparently accessible Birthday Party Hats.

I was also sure that I'd walk in and everybody would jump up and buzz, "HAPPPPPY BIRTHDAY, GEORGIE", but did they? No. No they did not.
In fact, the place was basically empty. Great Grandma Gee Gee wasn’t there. Kevin (my Illegitimate Nephew) wasn’t there. Fluer de Bee wasn’t there (she’s probably still in France), and my Beeloved Girlfriend, ButterCup wasn’t there. Nobody I knew was there except for maybee the Waiters, and even they were off taking Honey Breaks. I couldn't even find anybody to take my Order for a Refreshing and Delicious Hopefully Complementary Birthday Beverage after I seated myself in what used to bee my Favourite Booth, the J.W. Booth that's closest to the Bathroom. And how disappointing was that? It was beeyond aggravating.

Speaking of Bathrooms, I will return Shortly to finish what I’m in the Middle of telling you all about, but I really need to Go, if you know what I mean.

So I’m gonna go do that.

PS: Happy New Hot Season! We should Celebrate!
